Small grants up to £500
Got an idea that would help Greenlands or Woodrow? You could get up to £500 to make it happen.
What would you do with £500 for your neighbourhood?
Who can apply
Anyone. You do not need to be a charity, a CIC or a registered group.
- a resident on your own
- a group of neighbours, friends or a club
- a charity, community group or CIC
- a local business, for a community project that is not for profit
What it must do
The people who benefit must be in the Greenlands and Woodrow Pride in Place area. Some ideas that could work:
- a street clean-up or planting day
- equipment for a youth club or sports group
- a community event or celebration
- materials for a craft, art or music session

How to apply
Apply online. It takes about 10 minutes. Paper forms are available if you cannot use the internet (see below).
What we will ask
The form is short. We only ask:
- who you are and how to reach you
- how much you need (up to £500)
- why you need it
- what difference it will make, and for who
You can write as much or as little as you like. Spelling and grammar do not matter.
What happens next
- We email or phone to say we have your application, with a reference number.
- The board looks at it. We may call you with a question.
- We tell you the decision. If it is yes, we arrange payment with you directly.
We never ask for bank details on this website or by email. If anyone does, it is not us. Tell us on board@prideinplaceredditch.com.
Every grant we give is listed on our grants awarded page, so everyone can see where the money goes.
Applying online is quickest. If you cannot apply online, email board@prideinplaceredditch.com and we will send you a paper form, or pick one up at one of our events. We do not take applications over the phone.
